The Grange Golf Club’s annual IWS Grange Junior Foundation Day was held on Friday 28th February 2020 with over 100 players enjoying near perfect weather, magnificent catering and some great golf to make it the Club’s most successful fundraiser to date.

Thanks to the 27 teams and sponsors we were able to raise $26,000 which will go towards a number of golf development activities to promote and enhance the game of golf for golfers at all levels, elite golfers and especially promising juniors.

The IWS Grange Junior Foundation Day is a major fundraiser for Grange’s Golf Development Fund and would not have been possible without the support of our major sponsor Integrated Waste Services and Silver Sponsors, Mazzone Constructions and Bitu-mill Road Maintenance.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the following sponsors who the day would not have been possible without:

A big thank you to our MC Ben Hook, Auctioneer David Lang, Volunteers Elizabeth Warhurst, Joy Prior, Carolyn Palmer and to our on course junior Jamie Smith.  We would also like to acknowledge juniors Jack Thompson, Hudson Brown, Raegen Denton, Nick Siegmund and Millie Whinney who gave up their time to be part of the video presentation, to Club Pro Warren Mercer for his tribute to Tony Mazzone and to Terrisa Na and Simon Andrew who worked tirelessly to make this event possible.

Congratulations to the winners Craig Brown, Ryan Kelly, Alex Siegmund and Nick Siegmund who all went home with Garmin Vivomove HR Smart Watches.

The Grange Golf Club in partnership with Integrated Waste Services (IWS) have created this event to enable Grange to send promising juniors to national ranking events interstate including the Greg Norman Junior Masters and the Srixon International Junior Classic.  Funds raised from this golf day will provide Grange juniors with opportunities they wouldn’t normally be able to experience and assist them in fulfilling their dreams.  We were also to provide a small donation to the Kangaroo Island Bush Fire relief fund in South Australia.

And last but not least thank you to Joe Borrelli from Integrated Waste Services who we could not run this day without – your support is greatly appreciated.
