As members who have played the golf course recently would have seen, LIV Golf infrastructure works have ramped up in the last two weeks.

Our previous communication to members has included the following:

  • Closure of committee car parks (northern area of car park) from 18th March for use as a construction staging area
  • Commencement of work around the 18th West green from 18th March for Club 54 and Chalet infrastructure, resulting in the 1st West playing as a short par 4 from a temporary tee
  • Commencement today (22nd March) of work around the 10th East for the Birdie Shack infrastructure resulting in the 11th East playing from a forward tee

18th East – Temporary par 3 from Monday, 25th March

Previous communication advised work on the Gallery Club infrastructure adjacent the 18th East green was to have started on 18th March, but had been deferred for one week. We now advise members that the 18th East will be played as a short par 3 (approx. 130m) from Monday, 25th March to accommodate the Gallery Club build.

Map of course changes

Further to the changes impacting the golf course, we would like to give members advanced notice of requirements around lockers and accessing the bag and buggy storage area.

Male Locker Room – lockers to be emptied by Sunday, 14th April

As per last year, the male locker room will be used by players during the tournament.

As a result, male members will be required to vacate their lockers by Sunday, 14th April. This will provide the necessary time for the club to arrange for lockers to be commercially cleaned prior to tournament week commencing.

We ask male members to remove any belongings from their lockers by this date.

Bag & Buggy Storage Area – no member access from Sunday, 21st April

As per last year, members will not have access to the bag & buggy storage area from Sunday, 21st April for the duration of the tournament.

If you require your golf equipment during the week of the tournament, we encourage members to remove it prior to this date, otherwise you will not have access to your equipment until after the tournament.

LIV Golf Member Ticket Requests

Category 1/1A, 2/2A, 3/3A, 4, 5 & 6 members were sent an email on Wednesday, 20th March inviting them to indicate their preference, via an online form, for daily ground passes across the three days of LIV Golf.

To date, we have received well over 1300 requests from members for daily ground passes.

The club will manage the distribution of member ground passes based on the information provided by members via the online form. The email you provide on the form will be the email that your tickets are distributed to. Please ensure your details are correct when completing the form.

If you are in one of the above member categories, and you did not receive the email on Wednesday, 20th March, please contact the club on (08) 8355 7100 to arrange access to the online member form.

For those members that are having trouble accessing the link for the ticket registration, you MUST ensure you are logged into the members section of the website on your device prior to clicking on the ticket link in the email.

We remind members that ground passes will be limited to one pass per member per day.

Pro-Am & Practice Round – course closed to public

Unfortunately, this year LIV Golf have elected to close the course for the Pro-Am day on Wednesday, 24th April, and for the practice rounds on Thursday, 25th April.

The Pro-Am is a day earlier this year, with preparations for the tournament still being undertaken. The requirements for increased security, volunteers and safety concerns, combined with low take up of attendees last year, have led to this decision by LIV Golf officials. The course will be restricted to Pro-Am participants only.
