We are excited to announce that registrations are now OPEN for Grange Members to join the Volunteer Team at LIV Golf Adelaide, which is to be held at The Grange Golf Club, Adelaide, South Australia between 21-23 April 2023.
We are actively seeking volunteers for a variety of on-course and off-course roles during tournament week. Whilst prior golfing and volunteering experience is not mandatory, it is an obvious advantage, particularly for the on-course roles and priority will be assigned accordingly. Appropriate volunteer training sessions will be provided as necessary prior to commencement of underlying activities.
Volunteer Shifts
Whilst we would ideally prefer volunteers to be available for 3 days (i.e. this provides continuity and reduces training/admin load), and for which priority will be given, we understand that members would like to experience the event as a spectator so we will only be asking for a 2 day minimum requirement. Most of the roles will be on course so you will get a front row seat to all the action, and volunteers that have roles not on the course will still be able to see the golf before or after their shift due to the event being a shotgun start. LIV events are routinely operated on a “single shift” basis (between 4-6 hours depending upon specific activity).
In return, successfully accepted volunteers doing 2 days can expect to receive a LIV branded commemorative Polo Shirt and hat to mark the occasion. Those doing 3 days, will additionally receive a LIV branded jumper. All accepted volunteers will also be provided with refreshments on shift days, have access to dedicated complimentary car parking and entry to all three days of the event as well as the post-play entertainment events scheduled for Friday and Saturday evenings.
Uniform
All accepted volunteers will be issued with LIV Golf branded Volunteer Bib to be worn over your normal clothing. This effectively also acts as your “badge of office” whilst on the course. You will also be provided with LIV Golf branded baseball cap for corporate branding purposes. Volunteers are respectfully asked to wear normal, neutral coloured, golfing attire whilst on duty with sensible golfing footwear also recommended and deemed necessary.
Post completion of your final shift, volunteers will receive their commemorative jumper and/or polo shirt as a thank you from the tournament organisers.
