On Monday 29th August we hosted Kooyonga for the 25th Annual Joyce Goldfinch Challenge. The weather was terrible, and unfortunately we lost the Challenge to Kooyonga 5.5 to 3.5. The event consists of 9 Matches of handicapped match play for those with a handicap range of 19-28. We were represented by Yvonne Drysdale, Ruth Craig, Sharyn Simes, Monica Byrnes, Kris Tapp, Jayne Taylor, Cathy Linke, Liz Warhurst and Belinda Singleton. There were many familiar faces, and friendly chatter. We enjoyed a lovely meal of Roasted Chicken & Asian Coleslaw. We look forward to playing at Kooyonga next year and hopefully bringing the Trophy back to Grange.
