On Tuesday 9th August we had our Annual Guest Day. We had 56 Women play, coming from 15 other clubs including Penola, Kapunda, Clare, Barossa Valley, Echunga, West Lakes, Royal Adelaide, North Adelaide, Blackwood, Port Augusta, Chequers, Westward Ho, Thaxted Park, Glenelg and Mount Osmond. We played on the East Course under blue sky’s…….a nice change!
The Winner’s of the 4BBB competition with 47 points were Roslyn McCrae (Port Augusta) and Moria Smith, second were Carmella McMahon ((Chequers) and Judy Davies with 46 points and third were Kath McCreanor (Port Augusta) and Marg McDonald with 45 points. Very good scores, with 26 of the pairs posting 36 or better!
We enjoyed a lovely lunch, followed by presentations and the opportunity for friends to catch up with one another.
