Management and Committee and are pleased to advise that The Grange Golf Club have appointed Melissa Wundersitz as our new Food & Beverage Manager.
Melissa (Mel) will be a familiar face to many as she was a member at The Grange for 26 years before resigning in 2015 after moving to Darwin. She was also winner of the Ladies Championship and a Division 1 Pennant player for Grange.
Mel has lived and worked in Darwin since 2010, most notably spending seven years at the Darwin Turf Club as Functions and Events Manager including course Manager for all the bars, functions and events held during the Darwin Cup Carnival and throughout the year. She is currently employed as Venue Manager at Charlie’s of Darwin overseeing the day to day running of the Cocktail Bar, Restaurant and Rooftop Bar, including responsibility for customer service and staffing. Charlies is listed as one of the top twenty venues to visit in 2021 as published in the Telegraph UK. Before moving to Darwin, Mel previously worked at the Glenelg and Royal Adelaide Golf Clubs.
Mel will report to the General Manager and work closely with the Event Manager and Head Chef, to ensure we provide members and their guests with outstanding service.
Mel will commence duties at The Grange in early April and we encourage members to make her feel welcome. We are sure Mel will be a great asset to the Grange team.
