Hello everyone and welcome back to women’s Tuesdays’ competitions.

Isn’t it great having so many of us in the dining room again, the laughter is infectious. Such a great atmosphere.

A little ‘bumper’ edition this month. Please read below to see the bios from our Women’s Vice President Carolyn Palmer and Women’s Vice Captain Leeanne Manuel.  I’ve also provided an update on the golf gear for country kids and hole in one achievers! Enjoy!

Golf Gear for Country Kids Update
(Thank you to Jayne Taylor for providing the update)

Now that we can visit country areas, don’t be surprised if you suddenly meet your old golf clubs somewhere!

Jan Douglas from the Golf SA Country Kids program (and Sarah Douglas Norris’ Mum) has been distributing the wonderful donations around the areas.  Even though the COVID lock down meant the lessons were delayed, you might see your clubs in the Eyre Peninsula, Port Augusta or somewhere down south.

The donations were very generous and they are being put to good use.  A big thank you from the Women’s Committee and the Country Kids.

Now what to do about that space in the garage….

Holes in One

We thought you might like to know which women have officially scored holes in one at Grange. Several lucky women have achieved the feat twice. During the COVID season (!) strong rumour has it that Monica Byrnes and Lesley Patterson were also successful – 8th and 4th West respectively.

See you on the golf course!
