2014/15 has been one of the most successful membership induction years seen for some time.
With four and a half months remaining in our financial year, we have exceeded the annual budgeted inductions of 60, already welcoming 78 new members to the club. This is a fantastic result and reflects the reputation Grange holds within the golfing community.
Feedback suggests that these new members are drawn to Grange for a variety of reasons such as access to two championship courses, immaculate practice and training facilities including the Gym @ Grange, but most importantly because of the positive vibe and welcome provided to them by existing club members. For this, I thank you.
As membership continues to grow, it is important that existing members remain the club’s number 1 priority. It is for this reason that Management & Committee have decided to close Category 1 membership. Saturday is the busiest day at the club, and recently we have seen upwards of 420 players in the field.
This decision will be reviewed when the transfer window reopens around June / July. If any member wishes to upgrade their membership to Category 1, we ask that you contact the administration department and request that you be placed on the waiting list.
