Grange Seniors headed to Aston Hills (Mt Barker) today to take on Glenelg in the final match of the Minor Rounds.
I’m pleased to report that Grange scored a solid 4 ½ – 2 ½ Win over Glenelg to remain undefeated and finish on top of the table leading into the Finals.
Steve Osborn reportedly played well at No 4 to score a solid 4&3 Win over Howard Slater.
Mark Polden played at No 5 and also scored a 5&4 Win over Wayne Humphries who struggled.
Shane Amor won 3&1 over Doug Clark at No 6.
Eric Lane had a good 2 Up Win over John Keogh at No 3.
David Thompson halved his match against Peter Mattsson at No 2.
Peter Shaw’s unbeaten run was halted by Nick Wake who won 4&2 at No 1.
Shane McInerney at No 7 lost 6&5 to Brenton Lake who continued the form that won him the Glenelg Seniors Championship yesterday.
So, a solid win against Glenelg today gives us the best chance to win next week and secure a spot in the Final.
However, wins are never given so we’ll need to continue to play well when we take on West Lakes at Blackwood GC next week.
Glenelg will play Mt Osmond in the other Semi-Final.
In Division 1, TTG topped the Minor Rounds, with Kooyonga, The Vines and Royal Adelaide rounding out the top four.

Stay tuned.
