Members are advised the east putting green will be closed from Thursday 17th November until further notice. This will give the green the weekend to recover after recent aeration and fertility of the green. For the past 2-3 weeks the green has suffered a lot from isolated traffic at the walk on/ walk off area.
To assist in the even spread of wear across this green which is still relatively immature, all golfers are encouraged to use alternate walk on and walk off areas when possible which will always lead to better turf conditions and less requirement for closures moving forward.
