We have received a number of phone calls and emails from members with similar queries and thought we would provide a list of answers to some frequently asked questions which may be of interest to other members.
I cannot locate The Grange Golf Club on the MiScore App?
When looking for The Grange on the MiScore app, please ensure there is no ‘The’ at the front. We can be found as ‘Grange Golf Club’.
How do I stop the MiScore App from draining my phone battery?
Many members have noticed that since downloading and using their MiScore App that the battery on their phone has been drained. We advise members to follow the steps below to eradicate this:
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down to locate the MiScore App
- Select Location
- Under Allow Location Access select ‘Never’
Is the Practice Fairway back up and fully operational?
The Practice Fairway is now fully operational from 6:30am – 5:30pm with the pallets removed and drivers now allowed. Lessons are also available and can be booked online via The Grange website.
Members are reminded not to gather in the area and adhere to social distancing requirements of maintaining a 1.5m gap.
Where can I collect my winning voucher from?
If you have won a competition since the 1st April, these vouchers can be collected from the Pro Shop. If you won a competition before this date, these vouchers are available for collection from the front office.
When and how do I transfer my membership?
All transfers and resignations need to be put in writing to the General Manager by 30th June and can be emailed to info@www.grangegolf.com.au.
Can we sit in the Members Lounge and on the Balcony?
Premier Stephen Marshall has announced changes to the Roadmap for Easing COVID-19 Restrictions. A final decision on whether Clubs will be permitted to have seated dining to a maximum of 20 from Friday 5 June is yet to be made. We are expecting this announcement fairly soon and will obviously keep you updated. Please note that the addition of dining indoors for 10 people and the service of alcohol still only applies to the holders of a Restaurant and Catering Licence and The Grange Golf Club holds a “Club Licence”.
When will Saturday Junior Coaching Clinics recommence?
We are excited to announce that our free member junior coaching clinics with Nick McCormack will begin again this Saturday 23rd May 2020 from 2:00pm – 3:00pm. The clinics include free tuition and golf balls. We will advise members when other clinics recommence.
When can we start reintroducing guests?
With the golf courses so busy at the moment, we are trying to give members the best opportunities to book a round at their desired time. We will be reviewing this situation as restrictions are lifted and introducing guest play incrementally.
