It is a family affair when it comes to Georgia with her brother Sam previously working in the Pro Shop and brother Lachlan who was working in the Pro Shop and Bar before COVID-19. Thanks to JobKeeper we were able to bring Georgia back who is assisting with our Takeaway Service and Lachie has become part of the green keeping team. Georgia’s grandparents Renee and Peter Robertson have also been members at The Grange for over 30 years.
Georgia was actually a junior member at The Grange for 2 years when she joined the Club at 11 years of age in 2009. 10 years later she became of member of our hospitality team, when she was recruited to assist during the 2019 ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open – a pretty daunting first shift. Following the open she became a permanent casual staff member working in the restaurant, bar and at functions. When not working at The Grange, Georgia has been finishing her journalism degree with only 4 weeks to go. We would like to take this opportunity to share some information on Georgia.
