While Course Superintendent Rowan Daymond was ensuring The Grange made all the headlines during the 2019 Women’s Australian Open, he himself made the headlines in his home town earlier in the week. Originally hailing from the small township of Coomealla, just north of Mildura, where he did his apprenticeship, the 12 February edition of the Mildura-based Sunraysia Daily newspaper carried an article on Rowan and how he was handling the pressure in the lead-up to his first major tournament.
