What an A Squad we have this year!
This round we welcomed Louise Glennon to the Pike team, along with the return of Sarah Sanders. Playing on our home course, the team delivered a fantastic performance, winning 4.5 matches.
All players competed strongly, as reflected in the results. It was the first time this season that Lucy was really tested, taking her match down the 18th hole one down. After a great drive and a quality approach, which was unlucky not to hold the green, she showed great composure to win the hole and halve the match.
Well done to Kaylah on a strong comeback from Round 2, securing a dominant 6 & 5 win. It was also great to see Ann finish 2 & 1, while both Louise and Sarah recorded convincing 5 & 4 victories.
Our next match is on 12th April at Kooyonga against Glenelg, with our final match to be played at Glenelg against The Vines. As the ladder shows, it’s shaping up to be a tight finish—but the team is playing some excellent golf.
