As if a 5:30am start to get to Aston Hills for an 8am tee off was not challenge enough for our Cleek 2 ladies, there was more to come.
Every player had to give away 6+ points to our opponents from The Vines.
The course presented beautifully, however the number of trees which lined the fairways really tested the confidence levels, but we were grateful there were very few bunkers.
This challenge saw us trailing four players down and one up after nine holes.
However, as we all know, things can change very quickly in match play and our girls were able to rally. Through focus and sheer determination, we were able to win the 17th and 18th holes to claim a 3-2 victory.
