In the lead up to the LIV event areas of long rough will be grown on the composite course.
To protect these areas we have placed a number of ropes and stakes in the rough. These are immovable obstructions, players can take relief under rule 16.1.
Note, relief is only available for player’s stance, swing or lie of ball and NOT for line of play.
Relief is taken at the nearest point of full relief no nearer the hole, which may be in the roped area.
We would like to ask golfers to please keep carts out of these areas as they establish and only enter the area on foot.
