The Grange Golf Club’s annual IWS Grange Junior Foundation Day was held on Friday 18th March 2022 with over 100 members and guests enjoying near perfect weather, magnificent catering and some great golf to make it the Club’s one of the most successful fundraiser to date.

Thanks to the 21 teams and sponsors we were able to raise $31,944.13 which will go towards a number of golf development activities to promote and enhance the game of golf for golfers at all levels, elite golfers and especially promising juniors.

The IWS Grange Junior Foundation Day is a major fundraiser for Grange’s Golf Development Fund and would not have been possible without the support of our major sponsor Integrated Waste Services and Diamond Sponsors, Collins Transport and Platinum Sponsor Mazzone Constructions.

A big thank you to our MC Ben Hook, Auctioneer David Lang, our on course volunteers Carolyn Palmer, Leanne Manuel, Brenda Gameau and Nicole Siokis and to our on juniors Millie Whinnie, Hunter Whetstone, Hudson Brown and Alex Cappelluti for helping our teams by hitting balls.  We would also like to acknowledge Lachie DeSira and the Grange juniors for being involved in the video below showcasing how the foundation helps provide these clinics free of charge to Grange junior members.  Also to Stuart Kerr for putting this together.  Also a shout out to Stephanie Na and Millie Whinney again for giving up their time and speaking with Ben Hook at the luncheon about their golfing journey and achievements.

Congratulations to the winners Richard James, Ben Halam, Steve Pellatt and Andrew Manthorpe who all went home with Nespresso Delonghi Coffee Machines.

The Grange Golf Club in partnership with Integrated Waste Services (IWS) have created this event to enable Grange to send promising juniors to national ranking events interstate including the Greg Norman Junior Masters and the Srixon International Junior Classic.  Funds raised from this golf day will provide Grange juniors with opportunities they wouldn’t normally be able to experience and assist them in fulfilling their dreams.

And last but not least thank you to Joe Borrelli from Integrated Waste Services who we could not run this day without – your support is greatly appreciated.
