Please note that, as at 12:01am Saturday 26 February 2022, the following restrictions will be eased for Clubs:
- Indoor densities increase to 3 persons per 4m2 (75%) for seated consumption of food and/or beverages
- Standing consumption of food and/or beverages indoors will be permitted with a density of 1 person per 2m2 (50%)
- Where a combination of standing and seated consumption is undertaken indoors, Clubs must operate at 1 person per 2m2 (50%)
- “Private functions” are back. Singing and dancing is allowed at a private function. A private function must have:
- 1 person per 2m2 (50%) density
- capacity of 150 of the same patrons for the duration of the event
- no more than 50 people on the dancefloor at any one time
- the event is by invitation only and there is no public access
- the event must take place in a separate area of the Club
- separate contact tracing facilities are provided
- COVID Marshal obligations apply
- Buffets will be permitted
- Outdoor standing events which include standing consumption of food and beverages remain at 3 persons per 4m2 (75%)
- Masks obligations remain.
Masks
– The wearing of masks is only required in indoor hospitality public spaces,
including clubs, when not eating and/or drinking. This requirement applies to
both standing and seated.
– Masks are not required at “Private Functions”.
– Mask are not required in outdoor licensed areas.
