Management and Committee would like to welcome Hugo Siu as the new Accountant at The Grange Golf Club.
Hugo joins us after spending the past 18 months as Finance Manager at the Pregnancy Babies & Children’s Expo and previously at Savant Energy Power Networks as Management Accountant and prior to this as Company Accountant at Dover Fisheries Pty Ltd.
Hugo comes to Grange with lots of qualifications including a Diploma of Business, Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Finance), Graduate Certificate of Business (Professional Accounting), Master of Applied Economics (International), CPA Program – Professional Level and he is currently completing his Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice.
Hugo will report directly to the General Manager and his core responsibilities will include the following:
- Monthly financial reporting, managing subscription renewals and payment plans,
- Statutory lodgements including, BAS, FBT, GST
- Sales analysis and reporting, maintenance of POS system
- Oversee Payroll, debtor & creditor management and bank reconciliations
- P&L analysis and cash flow reporting
- Annual budget preparation
- Liaising with external auditors
Hugo commenced duties at The Grange on Tuesday 18th May 2021 and we encourage members to make him feel welcome. We are sure Hugo will be a great asset to the Grange team.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dylan Stevens for the work he has done at Grange over the past six months. Dylan has accepted a new position at Discovery Parks in the analytical department which is his area of interest and expertise.
