We are excited to announce that The Grange Golf Club now has our own Zoom Virtual Background. Please follow the steps below to set the background up for your next meeting. We hope members enjoy this new feature.
- Click on the image to the left, then right click and select ‘save image as’ to your desktop
- Open Zoom App – make sure you have downloaded the app on your pc desktop, iPhone, iPad etc rather than accessing Zoom via the website
- Sign In
- Click New Meeting
- If you are using your PC, click on the ^ button next to the ‘Stop Video’ Icon. If you are using your iPhone or iPad – Click on the 3 dots in the bottom right hand corner
- Select ‘Choose Virtual Background’
- If prompted click YES to ‘Download Virtual Background Package’
- Click on the + icon to the right of the images
- Select ‘Add Photo’
- Find the ‘Grange Zoom Background’ photo on your desktop
- Make sure the image is then selected
- Make sure the ‘I have a green screen’ and ‘Mirror my video’ is not ticked
Troubleshoot
- Update to the latest version of Zoom. Login to your app and click on your Photo or Initials in the top right hand corner and click on ‘Check for Updates’
- Update your PC or iPhone/iPad to the latest window version
- You may need to add the background to each meeting but this is easy to do once you have followed the steps above and you can just click on the ^ icon next to Stop Video and select your virtual background.
- Unfortunately this feature is not compatible with all devices and some webcams require a green screen
