Discretionary Calling Up on Par 3 Holes

Members are encouraged to “call up” on par 3 holes to assist with the speed of play, “calling up” is discretionary and subject to the following:

• The group “calling up” must be standing at the rear of the green in a safe location
• The group on the tee must not play until called to do so
• The lowest marker in each group is responsible to ensure these simple procedures are followed
• Notify any greenkeepers in the vicinity you are calling up

It is extremely important that members adhere to these rules to enable discretionary “calling up” to continue.  The safety of members is of paramount importance if “calling up” on Par 3 holes and members should appreciate that at all times they remain responsible for their own safety.
