Jay is someone that needs little introduction as many of you would see him regularly working hard on the golf courses or on the putting green and practice fairway fine tuning his game.  Jay joined The Grange Golf Club green keeping team in 2010 and took up the position of West Course Leading Hand in March this year.  Jay is not only a fantastic loyal staff member but has also been an integral part of Grange’s victorious Bonnar Cup team and holds an enviable handicap of 2.

What attracted you to work at The Grange Golf Club?
The opportunity to be involved in the construction of a golf course and setting it up for tournaments.

What is the most enjoyable part of your job?
The working hours allow me to play and practice golf a fair bit after work.

And the least enjoyable?
Winter mornings when it is raining.

What is your favourite item on the menu?
Chicken Burger

What is your favourite hole on the course?
The 17th on the West Course and the old 9th on the East Course

Where was your favourite vacation/holiday?
Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast

Delivering the Messenger Newspaper after school when I was 10 years old
