We wish to advise members that our Course Superintendent Richard James has resigned to take on the role of Course Superintendent at Kooyonga Golf Club.
It was a very tough decision for Richard however it presents a new challenge with the Women’s Australian Open in February.
Richard has been with us since January 2007 having arrived at The Grange following his role as Assistant Superintendent at Kooyonga.
Over the last 10 years Richard has done a fantastic job having overseen the redevelopment of the East Couse, finalising the West Course redevelopment, assisting with our wetlands project, and obviously presenting amazing courses for many tournaments and in particular the Women’s Australian Open in 2016.
Richard will be finishing his duties at Grange on Friday 4th August 2017 and we will begin advertising immediately for his replacement.
We thank Richard for his great work at The Grange and congratulate him on the new appointment. We wish him well for the future.
