As of Thursday 30th March 2017, the Club will be changing over to a new score card system through MiClub. The current cards will be substituted with a more traditional style of card and the scanners will be replaced with the latest technology. The benefits of the new system include:
- More timely and accurate results
- In built signature checking, removing this task for golf administrators
- Validates scores for players
- Removes the requirement of the slope handicapping changes
- Instant updates to leader boards and automated competition results
- No more eclectic administration
- Easier to use for members and less scanning issues
- Lower card and hardware costs
- Removes hole by hole data entry
- Score cards will be scanned and saved automatically on the Club’s computers
- No longer required to store thousands of scorecards
- Handles over 50 competition types including singles, fourball, foursomes and ambrose on one card stock
