Ermis Rouggos has been employed as a Course Marshal to operate on Wednesday and Saturday Club competition days for the benefit of all members playing on these days.
The primary role of the Course Marshal is to ensure the field flows without delay as smoothly as possible and to ensure each group does the best they can in keeping up with the group in front and keeping their position in the field.
As time goes on we also expect the Marshal will prevent slow groups from becoming out of position purely by being a presence as most groups will move faster if they know they are being monitored by an official.
The Course Marshal operates with the authority of the Committee and it is important that members show him respect.
