See below our Course Care information in regards to repairing divots and ball-marks.<\/p>\n<p>Through the green, a player should knock in with an iron the edges of any divot mark made by him and fill with sand. The player should ensure that any damage to the putting green made by the ball or by the player is carefully repaired.<br \/>\nSprig marks around the hole should be pressed down after putting out.<\/p>\n<p>Ball Marks<br \/>\n1. Always start at the back of the mark and push forward with the repairer.<br \/>\n2. Use repairer around all sides and slowly ease turf toward the centre of the mark. Do not lift the soil upwards.<br \/>\n3. Lightly tap down with putter.<br \/>\n4. Your completed repair should look like this.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-17188 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.grangegolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Fairway-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.grangegolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Fairway-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.grangegolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Fairway-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>Divots<br \/>\n1. Remove any loose turf from the affected area.<br \/>\n2-3. Knock in all sides of the edge of the divot<br \/>\n4. Correctly mended divot<br \/>\n5-6. Pour sand over the divot and using your club or shoe, level ot the area.<br \/>\nDamage to Greens \u2013 Flagsticks, Bags etc.<\/p>\n<p>Players should ensure that, when putting down bags, or the flagstick, no damage is done to the putting green, and that neither they nor their caddies damage the hole by standing close to it in handling the flagstick or in removing the ball from the hole.
