GRANGE – BLACKWOOD CHALLENGE at Blackwood THURSDAY 9 MAY 2019 8.00am for 8.30am tee-off

HANDICAP RANGE GA 14 – 20

The Grange/Blackwood Challenge was formulated by the Grange Club Captain Joyce Morley and the Blackwood Club Captain Pam Demler in 2000. This event came about when Women’s Golf ruled that a club could not have a Grade 3 Pennant team as well as a Grade 1 and 2 Pennant team, and therefore those players within the handicap range of 16 – 22 did not have a forum in which to play match play against other clubs. The Challenge is a match play event off the stick with 4 single matches and a Foursomes match.  The event is held twice per year at each of the Clubs. The trophy was donated in 2014 by Rosemary Martin.
