At City Golf North Shore our team of PGA Professionals are here to improve your game.  Through coaching, video and swing analysis, our coaches can assist you with your practice routines, proper technique and correct equipment selection.
 

The City Golf Professionals

The City Golf  North Shore professionals are all NZPGA Members. They are all passionate about the game and dedicated to improving their client's score. View the Profiles of  Zaine Mikkelson and Bryan Henry.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are the fastest way to improve your game with regular one on one contact with your professional.  Lessons are available on all aspects of the game, as well as on course lessons either in the Simulator or on the course. The Casual Rate for lessons is $70 with Zaine Mikkelson and $50 per half hour with Bryan Henry.

Clinics and Workshops

Clinics and Workshops offer a cost efficient and more sociable way to learn. Our Clinics are kept to a maximum of 3 clients per professional as opposed to other clinics with as many as 10 people or more to a professional. Two Day Intensive School with Zaine Mikkelson

Zaine Mikkelson in conjunction with our other City Golf Professionals - Giles Maurice, Bryan Henry and Manu Taylor -  are running a series of 2 day intensive schools for those golfers keen to take a couple of days to really work on their golf.

The program will be run at North Shore Golf Club and will focus on the following topics
  • Grip, Stance, Setup - improve on the basics.
  • The full swing and achieving consistency
  • Basic Shot Shaping
  • Advanced Short Game and Bunkers
  • Putting
  • Mental aspects of the game and Course management
  • Two separate on course lessons.

While the program will run whatever the conditions, we will re-locate the majority of the coaching indoors in the case of poor weather conditions and take advantage of the best times to play the on-course segments of the programme.

You will need your own clubs and to be dressed as per North Shore Golf Club dress code - no denim, shorts must be knee length and formal, collared shirt and in winter, we do suggest you bring wet weather gear.

This programme is appropriate for golfers of all levels who play regularly and hold a handicap (9 or 18 hole).

Numbers will be limited to 4 per professional and the cost for the two days inclusive of all golf, range balls, materials and lunch is $495 per person or the reduced rate of $450 for North Shore Golf Club Members.

The programme is available on the following dates with bookings essential and payment is required at the time of booking. In the unfortunate instance of a cancellation we will refund if we are able to fill the space in time.
