Playing Tips

The finishing hole is somewhat unusual being a fairly short par four although the West also finishes with a drive and pitch hole as do the fine courses just around the corner at Kooyonga and Royal Adelaide. The fairway bends from left to right so a fade is the perfect shot to hit off the tee. The green guarded by sand left and right is an intimidating target and whilst not long this hole extracts its share of scores higher than the length of the hole might suggest.
