    Golf at The Grange Golf Club

    Dress Code

    The Grange Golf Club requires a respectable standard of dress consistent with a prestige private golf club.

    The Commitee and Management RESERVE th right to ask members or their guests to change their attire if deemed too casual or inappropriate. We thank you for your co-operation.

    COURSE & PRACTICE FACILITIES

    • Whether playing or practicing all members AND their guests must be attired in clothing designed for golf (NOT casual wear adapted for golf)
    • Clothing must be well laundered and in good condition (faded or worn clothing or footwear is NOT acceptable)
    • We ask you to emulate the Men's & Ladies Professional Golfers who over the years have earned themselves an excellent reputation in terms of their dress standards. We simply want you to follow their lead.
    • Males must wear a collared shirt TUCKED in at all times whether playing or practicing ('Moc collars permitted). Females must wear a collared shirt.
    • Motifs no larger than pocket size.

    EXCLUDED:

    Members AND their guests may NOT at any time wear:

    • Spiked golf shoes
    • Coloured socks with shorts
    • Cargo shorts or pants, jeans, tracksuits or other casual wear not designed for golf

    CLUBHOUSE

    We recognize members AND their guests wish to enjoy our hospitality facilities in a more relaxed manner and therefore patrons may dress accordingly

    WE ask that members AND their guests acknowledge the wide cross section of members and are asked to dress in a neat casual fashion that is both well laundered and in good condition (including footwear) such that no offence is caused to any group

    Note: For the first time males MAY wear button through shirts not tucked in (polo shirts or golf shirts excluded)

    EXCLUDED:

    Members AND their guests may NOT at any time wear:

    • Thongs (dress sandals or boat shoes without socks are permitted for males as are dress slip-on shoes for females)
    • Tracksuits or drawstring/elastic band pants of any type (this type of clothing is regarded as too casual)
    • For males ' ALL shirts must have a collar ('moc' collars permitted), again with a motif no larger than pocket size.
    • NO t-shirt or similar
    • Hats of any description not to be worn inside

    PLEASE MEMBERS HELP US MAINTAIN OUR DRESS STANDARDS. WE HAVE ENDEAVOURED TO RELAX OUR DRESS CODE IN RESPONSE TO TODAY'S MORE CASUAL FASHIONS. DON'T USE THIS AS A MEANS TO DRESS POORLY. HELP US DEVELOP A PROUD CULTURE.
