Eisenhower Cup and Espirito Santo Trophies
4th October - 19th October 2008
This year the Espirito Trophy is being contested amongst 54 Countries and the Eisenhower Trophy amongst 72 Countries.
The ladies event is run over 4 consecutive rounds of Stroke Play, commencing Wednesday 8th October and concluding with the final teams battling out the championship on Saturday 11th October 2008. The mens event which is being played at both Grange and at Royal Adelaide Golf Club commences on Thursday 16th October concluding on Sunday 19th October 2008.
Spectators are very welcome and if you are considering attending this World Class event some important information is listed below:
- Access to the event is Free of Charge
- All car parking will be at Car Park B at AAMI Stadium entry via Gate A off West Lakes Boulevard
- Shuttle buses will be running between AAMI Stadium, The Grange Golf Club and Royal Adelaide Golf Club
- The Train service to Grange will also be stopping at Seaton allowing spectators a short walk into Grange and Royal Adelaide
- Everyone can access the Clubhouse to purchase Food and Beverages
- Food and Beverage facilities will also be operating around the golf course
2008 WORLD AMATEUR TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIPS
In October 2008, The Grange Golf Club in conjunction with Royal Adelaide Golf Club will be hosting the World Amateur Teams Championships.
The World Amateur Teams Championships is conducted every two years with over 70 countries submitting teams to showcase amateur golf around the world.
The Grange Golf Club will host the Espirito Santo event from Saturday 4th October until Saturday 11th October, whilst both clubs will host the Eisenhower Cup from Sunday 12th October until Sunday 19th October.
