Staff
The Grange Golf Club are pleased to welcome Justin Markos as the new House/Food and Beverage Manager.
Justin has been employed as Executive Chef at Mount Lofty House over the last 2 1/2 years and had significant involvement in front of house operations in the absence of a food and beverage manager over the last year. After beginning his career at Adelaide's iconic Chloe's Restaurant, Justin went on to gain extensive experience in a range of the state's finest kitchens, including the Radisson Playford and Magill Estate.
At just 28 years of age, Justin's resume is literally bursting with awards and accolades. In 2006 he even became the first chef to win the prestigous Dan Pontifex Memorial Scholarship, Australia's richest hospitality award. This saw him travel to Europe and spend several months working in some of London's finest Michelin Star restaurants, including Le Gavroche, Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's and The River Cafe.
We also take this opportunity to introduce Grange's new Head Chef, Louren Hancock to support Justin and strengthen the kitchen team for the re-launch of our a la carte restaurant. Louren has worked closely with Justin over the past 8 years and has extensive experience in fine dining restaurants.
